Should You Build an App?

Should You Build an App?

Even if your website is now properly optimized for mobile viewing, there may still be many cases where users would prefer accessing your offerings through a dedicated app.Advantages Of Apps Versus Mobile Websites
Now, if you're a plumber serving a small, rural community, obviously developing an app should not be your highest priority.
However, for someone that offers yoga classes, or the owner of a taxi service. it may be a good idea. The basic rule of thumb is that if you're business is one that customers regularly interact with online, you may benefit from offering them a dedicated app.
In the example above, the yoga class app could offer easy booking, daily tips and nspiration. The taxi service could let their users order a cab by simply pressing a button, and also give out coupons and special offers through the app.
Those were just two examples of where developing a mobile app can make sense for a small business owner. lf you're unsure, the best solutions may be to simply ask your existing customers if they would like an app, and if so, what they'd like to see in it. You'd be surprised at the clever ideas customers can think up that you'd never come up with yourself!
